Javad Salimi Sartakhti, first GTMD Ph.D. student, defended his doctoral thesis, titled “Modeling and simulation of cancer progress by using of game theory and multi-agent system” January 12, 2017. He had two publications in this area, appeared in prestigious journals, and another paper will soon be published. GTMD members congratulate him for graduation and hope the best wishes in his future endeavors.

A joint paper by GTMD members Mehdi Naderi Soorki, Dr. Mansahei; Mohammad Mozaffari and  Dr. Walid Saad from VirginiaTech and IUT ECE Professor Hossein Saidi on mechanism design for Resource Allocation for Machine-to-Machine Communications has been accepted to the 7th International Workshop on Wireless Networking, Control and Positioning for Unmanned Autonomous Vehicles (Wi-UAV 2016) in Washington, DC.

Mr. Rafiei successfully defended his masters' thesis in February 2017. He worked on the modeling of the cancer cell’s metabolic behavior in Reverse Warburg effect. GTMD members congratulate him for graduation.
