The French National Centre for Scientific Research (French: Centre national de la recherche scientifique, CNRS) is the largest governmental research organization in France and the largest fundamental science agency in Europe. The delegation visited Isfahan University of Technology (IUT) on June 1, 2016, and had a session with DR. Manshaei and other IUT representatives to review possible collaboration between their center and the university.

“Establishing connections to universities and institutes around the world is one of the main goals in CNRS. Our center support mutual research projects between French scientists and scientists from around the world,” said Dr. Patrick Nédellec, director for European Research and International Cooperation and the head of the delegation.
